Large-breed growth-plate protection needs strict follow-through. Favour self-paced, low-impact exploration, sniffing, problem-solving and short structured training on stable ground; limit repeated jumping and stair use, avoid forced mileage and sharp high-speed turns, and consult a veterinarian before adding impact or intensity.
GOOD = low-impact sniffing, self-paced ground play and structured tug; NOT YET = repeated stairs, jumping or running beside a bicycle while growth plates are developing.
