Required for admission

Dogs need current core vaccinations — distemper, parvovirus, hepatitis and leptospirosis — plus a kennel cough (Bordetella) vaccination given at least 14 days before check-in.

Required core vaccines are canine distemper, parvovirus, infectious hepatitis and leptospirosis. The kennel cough (Bordetella) vaccination must be given at least 14 days before check-in so it has taken effect, and dogs arriving from overseas also need a current rabies vaccination.

26–29 Mar & 10–25 Apr 2027

Easter long weekend runs Good Friday 26 March to Easter Monday 29 March; the school break follows on 10–25 April and ends into the Anzac Day holidays (Sun 25 + Mon 26 Apr).

Two-week mid-year break between Term 2 and Term 3.

Spring break includes the King's Birthday holiday (Mon 27 Sep); the summer break starts 17 December, with Christmas and Boxing Day falling on the weekend plus Monday–Tuesday substitute holidays (27–28 Dec).

Labour Day Monday 1 March and Western Australia Day Monday 7 June — short peaks outside the school breaks.

Arrival packing checklistPack for continuity, not novelty

Food: Bring the dog's usual food in labelled portions.	Familiar-smelling item: When the provider permits it, one washable familiar-smelling item.
Lead equipment: Flat collar and properly fitted Y-shaped harness; short lead, 1.2–1.8 m.	Prescription original packaging: Hand over veterinary medication exactly as supplied, in original labelled packaging, with the prescribing clinic's details.
Vaccination proof: Current vaccination certificate or veterinary record.

Boarding brings dogs into a shared environment. Checking every guest against the same admission standard helps reduce avoidable infectious-disease exposure across the group.

The policy protects the dog arriving, the other dogs in our care and the people who look after them. It also lets our team prepare for each stay with clear, consistent records.
